1.) If you were any element, what would you be, and why?

Carbon, because it is the most versatile.

2.) What is the most humorous use for nacho cheese dip?

Are we talking store bought or home made? The most humorous use for store bought nacho cheese dip is dipping
nachos, with bricklaying a close second. The most humorous use for home made, on the other hand, if you go all
the way and make it into a fondue turns out to be getting unsuspecting diabetics drunk on the trace amounts of
unevaporated alcohol in the wine -- which happened to a friend of mine when he made fondue for a birthday party
many years ago.

3.) What is the best band name ever, and why?

There are so many to choose from. When The Cranberries came out, I was convinced that they had run out of band names, and
were now using something else. The Stone Temple Pilots and Squirrel Nut Zippers have only served to convince me that this
is the case. I think I'd have to say that the best is Queensryche, because they had to sit and think that one up.

4.) What question could I ask that would tell me the most about you, and why?

"What is your approach to cooking?"

Because how someone handles such a basic thing as eating will tell you about how they approach pieces of their
life that are less vital.

5.) What phrase is the most sadly underused in the English language, in your experience?

It's a tossup between "It's not that big a deal." and "I don't know."

Would you expound upon that for me?

And are you interviewing others?

And you get your own branch of chemistry, too!

Whatever sort of cheese dip you prefer... (I always used to be fond of buying the "faux" cheese kind for parties - the partygoers would sit around while I read off the manysyllabic and noncheesely ingredients, stare at it inquistively for a few moments in contemplation of its molecular structure, and then someone would go "oh, screw it" and find the chips.)

I definitely agree with you about those phrases; key to living peacefully and learning!

I am interviewing others.

There are some few fundamental things in life, pretty much Maslow top tier things: we do them or we die. Eating and sleeping are the only things at that tier where there is much room for conscious direction, embelishment, personalization, etc. Breathing is pretty straightforward from a biological perspective, though a Buddhist or Yogi can write books on how to do it properly.

Cooking can be done alot of ways. Someone's approach to it can tell you about how they approach other things. For example, if someone just buys boxed mac and cheese and thinks it's dinner, there probably isn't much more thought than that going into other parts of their life, or else there's an awful lot of alienation at work.

Carbon has nothing on cheese dip when it comes to having your own whole branch of chemistry. :)

We used to stare at the ingredients list, too. And then someone would go "You expect me to eat this? And then eat it anyway, because college students are like that.

I'm tempted to ask you to interview me, but I wonder if you'd be able to ask a question you don't know the answer to. If you can, would you, Sir?

Oh yeah.

*laughs* Exactly! It's the same with middle schoolers, too. With high schoolers, there's a small divide, though - most people will move towards the salsa, and the few remaining will start reminiscing about processed foods while muching on some sort of cookie.

I thought you'd never ask... ;)

What was RFWB's best characteristic?

Is the job you're doing the job you want, or is it a step along a
career path?

Describe your dream home.

What's your favorite Unka Vlad story (no need to go into detail if
it's better left off public forums...)

What's your approach to cooking?

Like finances and time?

Yes, I'd love for you to interview me. I'm interested to see what you'd ask :)

Heh.

Nacho cheese dip sucks, but queso fondido is a nectar of the gods. IMO.

By the way, I just added you. Also, I think you're devilishly attractive and charming. I hope you don't mind on either count.

What if someone buys increasingly obscure brands of instant noodles for the added oddity of the international packaging and "what-the-hell-did-you-just-put-in-your-mouth" factor at equal starvation-level cost?
