Jun. 3rd, 2003 11:27 pmToday was a rotten day at work. Working as I do in security, I can't go too much into specifics, but suffice it to say that it shouldn't take a hour to explain to someone that I don't have a spare PC to install something on.
I came home stressed, rested some, then made dinner.
I've discovered that cooking actively relaxes me and improves my mood. The fancier the thing I'm making, the better. That's useful to know.
Tonight's dinner was spaghetti over mussels and sauce. The mussels were steamed in some vinegar left over from the wine we drank last week. The sauce was the post-steaming vinegar, a chopped tomato, spices, and several mussels simmered and then puree'd with a cusinart boat motor.
