Minnesota Republicans are stepping up:

Senator Norm Coleman has asked Lindner to retract his Holocaust revisionism, calling his remarks "deplorable and historically inaccurate."

Governor Jim Pawlenty also condemned the remarks, saying:
Rep. Lindner's statements about the Holocaust are troubling. Since the liberation of Nazi concentration camps more than half a century ago, the atrocious scope of the Holocaust remains one of history's most vivid personifications of human evil. I oppose any efforts to rewrite history to exclude homosexuals or any other minority group that suffered as victims in the Holocaust.

At least one of the citizens of Minnesota has tried to educate Coleman. Hinda Kibort, 81, said:

Unlike Lindner, I did not learn about World War II or the Nazi Holocaust by reading books. I was in a concentration camp.

She went on to state that she had personally known Gay men were her co-prisoners in the concentration camps, wearing the pink triangle. Coleman apparently thinks she's lying, though.
