[livejournal.com profile] jadegirl is visiting family, where I will join her this Friday. This gives me three days to myself at home, which is different from having time to myself when I'm travelling on business. I think it's the combination of the familiar (my home) with the strange (the lack of Jade). The place is very quiet when it's me and the cats, unless I put
music on. (Since my idea of relaxing music involves Dio and Judas Priest, it's rarely quiet when I choose to do so.)

Here's some Link Sausage, first of an irregular series:

have you checked out Howard Dean or Kuchinich, and what do you think? I'm leaning towards Dean.

I'm leaning towards Dean as well, but I'm reserving final judgement until The Skeleton Closet puts their dossier up. They're primarily responsible for me deciding not to go with Nader in '00.

I don't care for Kuchinich. I'm not impressed with his performance as Mayor of Cleveland (back when the Cuyahoga was still catching fire and they went bankrupt).

Oh! That's good to know. Kuchinich talks a good game but really isn't electable, in my book. Too grainy crunchy, not really solid as a candidate. I was surprised he did as well as he did in the MoveOn polls.

I've never heard of this Skeleton Closet. I'll have to go look at it.

Dean seems electable, balanced (socially liberal and fiscally sensible) and better than the dangerous turnip we have in the office at present. And genuinely smart.

Boo, You!

The universe is treating me very well indeed. It occasionally does an imitation of getting geared up to hand me some serious aggrivation, and once in a while follows through, but things are going very well indeed.

How's things with you?

Glad to hear it!

Things are basically good here. I'm not madly in love with Florida, the climate so does not suit me! But I love school and am after almost a year starting to have a bit of a life here. I've found something I genuinely love doing and am really good at, which is the greatest blessing I could ask for. That's the nutshell version. Oh, and I have a sweety, [livejournal.com profile] razelore. He is living in NC right now, and I miss him a lot.

I'm really glad to be back in touch! *hugs* Take care...
