Even if they may be doing the right thing -- opposing the war -- for the wrong reason -- to cover up French arms sales to the Iraqi. It's not like we haven't sold them weapons right up until the Kuwait invasion -- which we told them we would have no objection to. Certainly it is not the only reason they oppose it: they understand in a way only a few Americans (myself among them) have barely tasted -- what it is to be in a war zone. Molly Ivins wrote about this at length recently.
I think I shall decline to patronize any business which needs to serve "freedom [to be our toady] fries." I think I shall even go out of my way to patronize French businesses.
