Oh, look -- Junior found the one issue that's been weighing heavily on the minds of families all across the country: A T1 in every pot.

I'm sure glad he didn't get sidetracked by unemployment or the war in Iraq or any of those other piddly, small-niche concerns.

People keep being mystified why the Dow is up and unemployment isn't down. It's simple, really -- current corporate profitibility is driven by unemployment. Profit's up because overhead's down. Which is why so many people have stopped looking for work. But that means alot of people are home all day.

And Bush figures broadband is their top priority.

Unless he thought this would be the perfect follow-up to his WMD jokes?

Remember -- technically, George W. Bush isn't a DESERTER.

So Bill Frist says Richard Clarke perjured himself, and is threatening to declassify his testimony to congress.

Someone explain to me something? If Clarke's testimony is something that can be declassified without threatening national security, why the hell was it classified in the first place?

Hey, anytime GWB wants to desert is fine with me. Except I'd prefer to see him stand trial for, well, gee, I don't think there is enough space in this box
