Date: 2006-08-15 11:35 pm (UTC)What is a "professional Jew"? Can I be one since I have a job and am Jewish? Is this guy serious?
I cannot believe this editorial. I cannot believe an RABBI wrote this editorial. Rabbi Gellman is the embarassment to all card-carrying Jews. Goodness, what a clown.
Re: GASP!!!
Date: 2006-08-16 03:08 pm (UTC)Some have opined that this guy must have heard one Jackie Mason[1] routine too many and not understood it was humor.
What is a "professional Jew"?
If I'm understanding correctly, he means that he's a Rabbi.
Can I be one since I have a job and am Jewish?
I think you're disqualified because you have tits, and showing your brain off might distract your husband from your tits, and apparently your husband's fixation on your tits is your A-number-one priority in life, even above and beyond feeding your baby.[2]
Is this guy serious?
Alas.
Goodness, what a clown.
He might be easier to comprehend if you think of him as a willing "house kike[3]" for the dominionists. And, yes, he should be ashamed of himself.
[1] While it's dismaying that a Jew might not get Jackie Mason, it's even more dismaying that someone can become a Rabbi even after demonstrating that they're not equipped to get Gallagher.
[2] Yes, I know you have neither husband nor baby. At least I'm not making up the part about the tits.
[3] Normally, I do not use that word, but "house Jew" somehow fails to capture the essence of his role.

Date: 2006-08-16 05:59 am (UTC)I'd thank you for posting that link, but I'm not sure "thank you" is exactly the right phrase. This guy is so wrong … he's so … Aaargh. Just when I've almost regained my balance from his last line, he casually tosses out another whopper and I'm sent reeling again.
It certainly doesn't help matters that he's been granted a platform from which to spout his sick thoughts. We all have a G-d given right to be flaming idiots, but even so it's illegal to shout the lie: "Fire" in a crowded theater.
As they say, "With 'friends' like that…"
Ack!
Date: 2006-08-16 04:23 pm (UTC)Rabbi, dude - could you stop being on my side? You're making my side look bad.
